Who chooses the child care
provider my child will use?
-
You do. Eligible
parents/caretakers must choose their child’s care
provider.
-
We can provide a list of our
CCS providers.
-
The list identifies our
Texas Rising Star Providers, businesses that have
-
volunteered to meet
standards higher than the state requires in the areas of
health & safety; fewer children with each caregiver; and
lesson plans that include activities to specifically
develop large muscle, small muscle, learning/thinking
and social skills.
-
Some providers, called TEEM
providers, have programs designed to improve a child’s
school readiness, early learning and reading skills.
-
Other choices may be
specific family members or registered or licensed
facilities that are not CCS providers.
